Yearsley takes on non-exec role at Plymouth IFA

Ben Yearsley, formerly head of investment research at Charles Stanley Direct, has taken on a non-executive role at Plymouth-based IFA Shore Financial Planning.

Yearsley (pictured) left his role at Charles Stanley Direct in June after less than three years, amid a shake-up of senior management at the firm. Wheatley becomes Charles Stanley Direct MD amid restructure He joined the group in October 2012 to help drive its push into the D2C market after leaving Hargreaves Lansdown, where he spent over 14 years as an investment manager. Yearsley, who remains on gardening leave from his role at Charles Stanley, has taken on the non-executive role at the Plymouth IFA. Shore Financial Planning has around £40m in assets under advice.
