Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway nears its largest ever M&A deal

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway is in talks to buy aerospace manufacturer Precision Castparts, which would mark its biggest ever acquisition.

Berkshire is already one of the biggest shareholders in Precision Castpart with a 3% stake in the business, which Buffett has held since 2012. The latest deal, which could be finalised this week, could be worth over $30bn, marking the biggest ever acquisition for the conglomerate, the Wall Street Journal reports.
