Charles Stanley adds passive funds to Foundation Fundlist

Charles Stanley has added passive funds to its Foundation Fundlist of preferred vehicles for the first time, following a shakeup of the firm's research capabilities.

In June, the management of the D2C Foundation portfolios and fund lists transitioned to the London-based collectives research team, headed by Stephen Peters (pictured). Since then, the team has been restructuring the list, cutting the total number of funds from 70 to around 55-60, and adding passive products. These are all tracker funds, as ETFs can be more complex when reinvesting income, the group said.
