Schroders has appointed private equity specialist Rhian Davies to the board as an independent non-executive director.
Davies is a qualified accountant and was a partner at Electra Partners, an independent private equity fund manager from 1992 until the end of June. She remains a senior adviser at the group. In her new role, Davies will also become a member of Schroders' audit and risk committee and the nominations committee. Andrew Beeson, chairman of Schroders, said: "We are delighted that Rhian is joining Schroders as a non-executive director.
