M&G's Riddell exits after 12 years

M&G fixed income manager Mike Riddell is to leave the firm he joined in 2003 in order to pursue another opportunity.

Riddell’s responsibilities will now be split across M&G’s 21-strong retail fixed interest team, headed by Jim Leaviss. The manager’s £376m Index Linked Bond fund will now be managed by Ben Lord, current manager of the UK Inflation Linked Corporate Bond fund and the Global Corporate Bond fund. The £703m Gilt and Fixed Interest Income fund will be run by Short Dated Corporate Bond fund manager Matthew Russell. M&G's Riddell: Is China the new Iceland?
