Dan Kemp has been promoted to chief investment officer for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Morningstar, replacing Daniel Needham.
Kemp (pictured) will be CIO for the EMEA region, following Needham's promotion to group president and CIO in January. Kemp will lead the 20-strong investment management team for the region, working with advisers and institutions. The group has also promoted Robin Johnson to head of portfolio management for the EMEA region, overseeing the Morningstar OBSR managed portfolios service.
