Hermes relaunches real estate debt fund

Hermes has relaunched its real estate debt fund in a bid to take advantage of the burgeoning opportunities in UK commercial property.

The Hermes Real Estate Senior Debt fund has broadened its remit to focus on well-structured private loans on UK domiciled commercial real estate, and will target investment opportunities across the UK in a range of property asset classes. Previously, the fund had been focused on London and the South East, and had only targeted retail property, industrial property, and offices. Hermes also announced the fund's first three real estate debt deals, which fit the fund's original criteria. The deals represent LTV ratios of around 60-65%, and the loans cover a period of three to six years. ...
