Hargreaves to launch Asia and EM multi-manager fund

Hargreaves Lansdown is extending is multi-manager range with the launch of an Asia and emerging markets vehicle at the end of this month.

The fund, which will invest across a number of countries and begin trading on 29 April, will be managed by Roger Clark and David Smith. Clark currently manages HL's Multi-Manager Special Situations and Balanced Managed funds, while Smith runs the Multi-Manager Equity & Bonds, Balanced Managed, and Strategic Bond funds. Commenting on the launch, Hargreaves said: "The long-term outlook [for the region] remains robust and, in our view, the HL Multi-Manager Asia & Emerging Markets fund is great for broad exposure to this vast high risk region, where opportunities are plentiful."
