Odey: My portfolio is like a hot curry

Crispin Odey has likened his portfolios to a "hot curry", as equities' serene progression puts markets at odds with the manager's bearish views.

In his monthly update to investors, the manager said investors in Odey Asset Management funds are "lucky" to have the choice of investing either with him or colleague Tim Bond, manager of the multi-asset Odyssey fund. Odey said that while Bond's fund provides a more positive view of the prospects for the European and US economies, his own portfolios continue to reflect his much more negative macroeconomic viewpoint.
