Sanditon eyes November launch for Russell's long/short fund

Newly-founded fund group Sanditon Asset Management plans to launch a UK long/short fund for Tim Russell as early as November.

Following a week which saw speculation grow that former Cazenove colleague Julie Dean may join the group after leaving Schroders, Sanditon told Investment Week the plan is for a November or early December launch for Russell’s next fund. The group, founded by Russell (pictured) and fellow ex-Cazenove manager Chris Rice, is aiming to provide an open-ended UK fund which will mimic the investment process on the Pan European long/short investment trust.
