Troy expands Lyon and Brooke's investment team with Rothschild hire

Tom Yeowart has joined Troy Asset Management to run the Troy Spectrum fund, working under chief executive Sebastian Lyon and fund manager Francis Brooke.

The £85m fund has struggled to perform relative to its peers in the IMA Flexible Investment sector, returning 16% over three years to 29 August versus an average return of 32%. Yeowart joins Troy from Rothschild Wealth Management, where he focused on fund research; he will begin his new role this month. He started his career at Brewin Dolphin in 2006, and has also worked as portfolio manager at Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander as well as Williams de Bröe.
