Aberdeen expands bond and property range

Aberdeen Asset Management is launching two bond funds for its Luxembourg range and an institutional property fund investing in European real estate.

The two bonds funds - Aberdeen Global World Government Bond and Frontier Markets Bond - aim to help investors diversify their domestic government bond portfolios. World Government Bond will invest in global sovereign fixed income securities with default rates close to zero, and have limited exposure to sub-investment grade debt.   It will be measured against a GDP-weighted benchmark, focused on the economic strengths of countries rather than the amount of debt they have in issue, and will therefore have a strong tilt towards growth economies with higher income and lower public debt.  ...
