iShares slashes ETF fees and rationalises range

iShares has streamlined its European ETF range and significantly reduced fees on a range of funds following the acquisition of Credit Suisse's ETF arm earlier this year.

iShares is closing 15 equity and commodity ETFs as of 24 October, including eight iShares funds and seven legacy Credit Suisse offerings, due to low investor demand. The group is also reducing the prices on 10 of its ETFs, as the combined offering with Credit Suisse's range has led to pricing discrepancies. As a result, the accumulating versions of the iShares FTSE 100 and S&P 500 UCITS ETF and the iShares S&P 500 - B UCITS ETF will see their total expense ratio (TER) reduced to 0.15% points.
