Swiss investor acquires SVG Investment Managers

Swiss international investor Hansa Aktiengesellschaft has bought specialist fund manager SVG Investment Managers Ltd (SVGIM) from SVG Capital, subject to regulatory approval.

Hansa will hold the majority of shares, with the senior management of SVGIM, a UK equities boutique with assets under management of £200m, holding a minority stake. Hansa will also acquire SVG Capital's holdings in certain SVGIM managed funds, with a rebrand of the firm likely.
