Kearney and Duce: Our key asset allocation moves for 2013

Aberdeen Asset Management's multi-manager team is backing equities to outperform this year, and is focusing particularly on Asia, with an overweight to the region.

Europe, on the other hand, remains an underweight across the portfolios, although the managers have been increasing exposure to the region slightly in the latter half of last year. The Multi Manager Cautious Managed portfolio has seen its allocation to Europe increase from 2% in September to 3.7% in November, and the Balanced Managed portfolio has gone from 7% to 8.2% in Europe over the same period.
