Jupiter Fund Management scooped diversified group of the year at S&P Capital IQ's 2012 fund awards last night.
The awards, which recognise excellence in the fund management industry, showcases fund groups and fund managers who have delivered substantial returns over the past year. Polar Capital was crowned specialist group of the year, while Insight Investments' UK market neutral team won investment team of the year. Elsewhere, Jupiter's Alexander Darwall was named portfolio manager of the year, with M&G's Richard Woolnough awarded S&P Capital IQ's sustained excellence award.
