Schroders poaches UBS' Stewart for bond team

Schroders has expanded its fixed income team, hiring UBS Asset Management's head of UK fixed income Alix Stewart and Konstantin Leidman as the group looks to build its capabilities in the space.

Both Stewart and Konstantin join as senior portfolio managers. Stewart will specialise in investment grade credit and Konstantin will focus on European high yield. Both managers will report to Philippe Lespinard, Schroders' CIO of fixed income. Stewart's appointment will see her reunited with former boss Bob Jolly, who joined Schroders last year from UBS to take on the role of head of global macro.
