HSBC creates EMEA role for Clark

HSBC Global Asset Management has named Andy Clark as head of wholesale for EMEA, a role created as part of the bank's move to grow across the region.

Clark retains his previous role as wholesale director for UK and MENA, which he has held since joining the firm in March 2007. He will remain based in London and will report to Rudolf Apenbrink, CEO for EMEA. Apenbrink has occupied this role since returning to Europe in September last year. He was previously CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management's Asia Pacific Operation, a position he held for three years.
