Gemini MOSt India fund opens to UK investors

Gemini Investment Managers has received approval from the FSA to offer its India Oeic fund to UK investors, after it initially launched into the global market last November.

The Gemini MOSt India Fund, launched in conjunction with Indian asset manager Motilal Oswal, employs a value strategy and aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing mainly in Indian equities or similar instruments. The fund, managed by Motilal Oswal's Manish Sonthalia, aims to maximise total return largely through capital appreciation, and to outperform the benchmark S&P CNX Nifty 50 index over a three-to-five year rolling cycle.
