Ex-Skandia CEO Jamie MacLeod is to join Berry Asset Management, a wealth management boutique.
He will head the business as CEO and will take a 20% share in the business when he joins on 1 September. MacLeod will buy the shareholding from Swiss private bank Bordier & Cie, which owns 90% of Berry. Berry has assets under management of £650m. James Berry, the company founder and managing director, will become executive chairman, stepping back from the operational management of the business to concentrate on looking after clients.
