Cazenove Capital Management and Russell Investments have each boosted their UK regional teams.
Cazenove says it has appointed Jonathan Simmons from Prudential to build its relationships with IFAs in the north of Britain.
Simmons' role is newly created at the asset management group.

Meanwhile, Russell Investments has hired three people to its UK private client services team.
John Dowson, regional director for North England, joins from Scottish Widows, where he was an investment development manager providing sales, marketing and technical support on investment issues.
Alistair Wilson, regional director for Scotland and Northern Ireland, joins from Skandia where he worked for 19 years, including as a regional sales manager in Scotland.
