Investec promotes two UK team members to take over funds after star manager leaves the group

Investec has promoted two of its UK team to take on the funds run by star manager Dan Hanbury who is to join River & Mercantile (R&M) in October. Hanbury's decision to move last week led to Forsyth OBSR suspending its AA rating on the £107m UK Smaller Companies fund until it has had a chance to talk to new manager Philip Rodrigs. Before moving to Investec a year ago, where he has worked as an equity analyst as well as following the tech and telecom sectors, Rodrigs worked as a pan-European analyst for T.Rowe Price.
