Back in fashion: Five UK equity funds topping the inflow charts

The five best-selling UK All Companies funds saw more than £1bn in collective inflows in the first two months of the year, confirming UK equities are back at the top of investors' wishlists.

While the moves of star managers have played a part, investors have also been lured by the opportunities of a UK recovery, which after six years of uncertainty, appears to be firmly entrenched. Last year the UK economy grew 1.9%, the fastest rate since 2007, coinciding with a 14% rise in the FTSE 100.
