Aged 18, Alexandra Jackson attended a two-week outreach programme designed to introduce women to the world of investment banking, but realised it was not the career for her.
Three years and a degree in economics later, she was still not sure where to go next. However, after applying for a number of jobs, she soon found her place in asset management as a trainee fund manager at Rathbone Unit Trust Management.
