EFGAM's Mok: There is no value left in Chinese A-shares

There is no longer any value in the Chinese A-shares market, according to EFG Asset Management's China fund manager Mansfield Mok.

Mok (pictured), who runs the $302m (£206m) New Capital China Equity fund, said China's mainland stock exchange is not offering attractive opportunities, despite the hype around the Stock Connect programme. This launched in November with the aim of linking the Hong Kong stock exchange to the mainland Shanghai market in the most substantial opening of the Chinese mainland market to foreign investors to date.
