Rachel Reeves sets date for 'Spring Forecast' next year

Chancellor Rachel Reeves told the House of Commons on Monday (16 December) that the Office for Budget Responsibility will publish an economic and fiscal forecast on 26 March next year.

The OBR's newly-introduced Spring Forecast is compatible with the Budget Responsibility and National Audit Act 2011, which requires the fiscal watchdog to come up with two forecasts each financial year.
