Fisch AM hires PIMCO veteran to run global high yield strategy

Fisch Asset Management has expanded its high yield team with a senior fund manager hire, as it plans to further expand its product range.

Axel Potthof joined the firm on 1 September and, together with Gerrit Bahlo, has been managing Fisch's CHF 900m (£810.5m) global high yield strategy as senior portfolio manager. Prior to joining Fisch Asset Management, Potthof worked at PIMCO in Munich, for 22 years, where he was lead portfolio manager for European and global high yield strategies, and was responsible for around €3bn assets under management.  PIMCO adds to commodities expertise with duo of senior hires He also led the European high yield desk, consisting of three portfolio managers and bond traders.  Potthof sai...
