With all the emphasis on reducing costs and charges in the fund industry, why are we currently seeing more and more groups increasing annual charges on funds? The rationale behind recent increases in annual charges for income funds from Credit Suisse and Threadneedle, to name two, is they are simply adopting the industry norm.
