Pictet AM appoints Legg Mason's Franklin as head of UK wholesale

Dan Franklin, previously director of business development at Legg Mason Global Asset Management, has been hired by Pictet Asset Management as head of wholesale, UK.

Franklin was at Legg Mason Global Asset Management for nearly six years from November 2011, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to this, he spent more than five years as investment sales manager at LGIM. His hire follows the appointment of Wendy Appleton as head of UK intermediaries in April. She had been at the business since 2008, having joined from Henderson Global Investors.
