AXA IM reorganises fixed income division

AXA Investment Managers has incorporated its structured finance assets into its fixed income arm as it reorganises the division.

The group said the new fixed income and structured finance department represents a "simpler structure, more algined with the way clients think about their investments". The unit will be headed by John Porter, and now consists of five business lines: Active fixed income; buy & maintain fixed income; structured finance; a team focused on working with the wider AXA Group; and a solutions team that combines portfolio engineering and credit research.
