St James's Place FUM nears £50bn as ISA changes boost flows

Net inflows at St James's Place (SJP) rose 23% in the third quarter as ISA rule changes helped boost new business, interim results show.

Net fund inflows stood at £1.3bn in the three months to 30 September, with nine month flows standing at £3.7bn. Both figures represent a 23% year-on-year rise. Those flows have pushed total funds under management to £49.1bn, up from £47.6bn at the start of the third quarter and £44.3bn at the start of the year. Third quarter new single investments - encompassing investment, pension, unit trust & ISA business - rose rose 19% year on year to £1.8bn, driven by ISA business, according to the wealth management group.
