Former Martin Currie GEM head joins Midmar Capital

The former head of global emerging markets at Martin Currie, Dariusz Sliwinski, has joined Midmar Capital.

Sliwinski joins Michael Nicol and Alistair MacDonald on the investment team, and will explore opportunities within the emerging European equities space. He will also contribute stock ideas to the Merrion European Absolute Return fund which the firm manages. Kevin Gallacher, director of Merion Investment Managers, said: "Dariusz brings a wealth of experience to the team and will be a valuable addition to our intellectual capital.
