Framlington has shifted assets back into the US from Europe in the belief that US markets are fair value. Neil Birrell, chief investment officer at the group also cited growing acceptance that corporate earnings have recovered and positive growth figures for capital expenditure. He is positive on the outlook for the UK, where cash earnings appear to be stabilising after five quarters of falling capital expenditure.
