Henderson Global Investors is changing the benchmarks on its fund of funds range, following the decision to close two of its five portfolios. The group is adopting a peer group benchmark rather than the internal, fixed benchmarks it has been using. These internal benchmarks have meant its Distribution fund of funds was limited to holding 50% bonds and 50% equities, for example. By switching to a peer group benchmark, the multi-manager team will be able to move the fund to 100% bonds or a 60%-40% equity split, depending on Hendersons' asset allocation decision and what the peer group is...
