Baring Europe Select Trust manager Maria Polycarpou is leaving the group to join bank assurance group Fortis in the next few weeks. Polycarpou, who was also co-manager on the German growth trust, is being replaced by Susannah Lloyd, who headed up the group's small cap team. Barings is looking to bring in another couple of managers to work alongside Lloyd.
