Fleming Managed Growth has proven more popular among Asda shareholders than the Save & Prosper Premier Equity Growth unit trust. In March it was announced the supermarket's shareholders who had accepted Wal-Mart loan notes when the US chain acquired Asda were to be given the opportunity to exchange the notes for shares in the Flemings investment trust or units in the open ended vehicle. Of the £55m worth of notes exch-anged, Fleming Managed Growth received £32m, which increased total assets to £70.5m.
