Royal London UK Equity and Income trust and its subsidiary are to be liquidated and could be rolled over into a range of unit trusts. The boards of the £65m company and its subsidiary, Royal London UK Equity and Income Securities trust, have proposed to liquidate and reconstruct the vehicle. Under the proposals, shareholders will be given the option to roll their investment into one or more of the group's open-ended funds, namely the Royal London UK Growth, Corporate Bond and Cash.
