Investec has appointed contrarian team member Mark Wynne-Jones as co-portfolio manager alongside Alistair Mundy on the group's top-performing Global Special Situations fund. Headed by Mundy, manager of its £1.1bn Cautious Managed fund, Investec's seven-strong contrarian team provides the investment process behind six of the group's products, including its Global and UK Special Situations vehicles. The £15m Investec Global Special Situations fund is ranked number one out of 178 funds in the IMA Global Growth sector over one year to 25 May, falling just 2% against an average 22.4% decline...
