Standard Life Investments (SLI) is to raise the initial charges on the majority of its equity and bond funds from 1 January, at the same time increasing IFA commissions. On its bond funds Select Income, Corporate Bond, Higher Income and Global Index Linked, the initial charge will move from 3% up to 4%. Annual management fees on the fund will stay the same at 0.95%. Intermediary commission on these portfolios will move from 3% initial up to 3.5% but only on purchases either direct or via Standard Life's Sigma platform.
