JPMorgan Claverhouse managers boast strong stock selection to shake off gearing damage
Stockpicking among oils and focusing away from consumer stocks have helped JPM Claverhouse improve on a difficult 2007 so far this year. The vehicle, managed by James Illsley and Sarah Emly, outperformed the FTSE All-Share over the first half of the year, returning -9.4% in NAV terms against -11.2%. Illsley highlighted stock selection as the key driver behind performance on the vehicle.
