John Croft has been appointed head of broker sales at Deutsche Asset Management. He joins the group from M&G where he held a similar position. In this new role, Croft will be responsible for managing the four-strong telephone sales team. Tony Thompson has been named fund manager for UK fixed interest at Tilney. He was previously at Guardian Royal Exchange where he worked since 1989. Laurie Edmans has resigned as deputy chief executive of NPI to join Aegon UK as its director of corporate development.
