M&G has launched a fund investing in corporate debt, which aims to achieve an annual net return of 1.5% above Libor. Structured as a Qualified Investor Scheme (QIS), the M&G European Loan fund, a Dublin listed, sterling-denominated Oeic, is aimed at top-end discretionary managers with a minimum investment of e250,000. Qualifying Investor rules state that an individual must have this amount to qualify as an investor, but discretionary brokers with more than e25m under management can deal on clients' behalf.
