Morgan Stanley has launched the second issue of its FTSE Defensive Gilt-Backed Growth Plan. The three-year plan pays 7.25% on each anniversary where the FTSE 100 is at or above 90% of its initial level for each year it has been active. Captal is returned if the index is above 50% of its initial level at maturity, otherwise the nominal investment is reduced by 1% for each 1% the index has fallen.
