Halifax has launched an online share dealing and banking service, featuring a flat fee of £5 per deal until 11 January 2000 Available seven days a week, the ShareXpress service will enable customers to buy and sell shares via the internet as well as allowing access to a range of free market information There will be no annual administration or management charges associated with the dealing service and after 11 January the cost will be £12.50 for deals up to £2,500 and £22.50 for deals up to £60,000.
