The Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) has criticised the first report from Adair Turner's Pension Commission for assumptions used in crucial analysis and failure to consider key areas. In much of their work, researchers at the Commission assumed that individuals were male, single, worked for 44 years until age 65 and saved continuously, for example.
