I was in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago chairing a debate on "What can the financial services industry do to rebuild trust with investors?" A challenging task indeed. Fortunately, we had a panel comprising Colin McLean of SVM, John Moore of Brewin Dolphin, Stephen Moore of Julius Baer and Alistair Hall of Ignis - a manufacturer, a buyer, a distributor and a seller.
