Tony Mather has joined the exodus of fund managers from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip). Mather ran the Swip UK Equity Income Fund, Hill Samuel Income Trust and Scottish Widows High Reserve Fund. He is expected to join Edinburgh Partners, the company started by Sandy Nairn and Graham Campbell, formerly Swip's chief investment officer and head of UK retail funds respectively. Richard Dunbar will take over as manager of Mather's funds at Swip. Dunbar joined Swip in 2000 and is responsible for managing various UK institutional accounts and the Hill Samuel Financial fund.
