Polar Capital Technology Trust is to be without its manager Brian Ashford-Russell for the first quarter of 2006 with Ben Rogoff stepping up to the role. Former Hendersons manager and Polar Capital founder Ashford-Russell is to take a sabbatical in order to travel. The move comes as the trust announced it has suffered underperformance against a rejuvenated benchmark in the second half of 2005 because of the cost of exercising warrants. The trust saw its Nav per share rise by 14.7% in the six months to 31 October against a comparative rise in the Dow Jones World Technology index of 18.1%...
