Citigroup is offering a two-year structured product that will enable investors to use the stocks and shares portion of their Isas without being exposed to capital risk. The Inland Revenue aims to ensure that investors are exposed to risk of losing at least 5% of their capital over a five-year period for a product to set in the larger stocks and shares component of an Isa. If products do not pose such a risk, they are deemed cash-like and have to sit in the wrapper's smaller cash component.
