Alan Gadd, managing director for Morley's UK and European retail, has left the company. Gadd, who is thought to be taking a couple of months out of the industry, was responsible for the strategic development of Morley's retail business and management of corporate marketing and the company's third party sales. He joined Morley Fund Management in May 2001 and in January 2003 became a member of its executive committee, reporting to Keith Jones, chief executive officer. He began his career at Hendersons before joining HSBC where he was latterly head of savings and investment.
